I feel bad about not writing something for Veteran's Day, but this date is the day that I remember most often. This date, three years ago we lost a number of young men in Fallujah, Iraq. They gave the ultimate sacrifice to our country and I will never forget this. I will raise my Son to appreciate that and hopefully he will do likewise with his children.
My heart goes out the the families dealing with this particular day. Your strength is an inspiration.
I hope as a country we can pause more often than once a year to appreciate the Men and Women who keep us safe.

And you had to make the phone calls once the notifications were done. Thank you for handling it with grace and compassion. I'll never forget the call about the CSM...it rocked my foundation.
