Your guess is as good as mine. I discovered this little tid bit right after I dropped C off at school. At first when I saw it, it looked like a bullet hole, but then noticed, thank goodness, that it's not round. I know Fayette-nam is bad, but this is ridiculous. It couldn't have been a rock while driving, I think I would have noticed a rock hitting so hard it goes through the metal. It's not a car door unless they are making some funky doors now. My assumption is vandalism. It looks a little too much like someone took a hammer or something to the side of my car for kicks. Obviously this person does not pay a car payment, insurance or 
DEDUCTIBLE! I am almost positive it happened here at our house on post which even irks me more. Anyone who lives here on post obviously is not rich and works very hard for their money. I hope that it was some dumb kid who grows up to become a better adult and looks back on this when they purchase their first car. Hopefully then, they will realize how selfish and stupid that was and raise their kids to make better choices. In the meantime........I'm going to spend my evenings sitting on my porch with the sword that R mailed back from Afghanistan!!!!!

Hey! That happened to Regina's truck parked in front of her house in Vilseck. S.Mc. figured it out! It was from a rock thrown by the lawnmower at the park (those big industrial ones.) If you guys have outsourced lawns now (is your housing privatized?) that's probably what did it. In Germany, they didn't even give her a hassle. Apparently it happens pretty frequently. She just called them and asked them to come look. They said they were sure it was them, and told her to get an estimate and they'd pay to have it fixed. didn't have to do anything with insurance. Give it a try!
I am doing that tomorrow, you know I wondered if it was the lawn guys, they were there the day before I noticed it!!!!!! Thanks A!
