Winter Time!

I think it's officially winter here! We had our first snowfall, although nothing stayed on the ground. Poor C, he's never been in the snow and is desperately waiting to play in it! This Friday we went to our downtown "mall" and saw Santa arrive by horse drawn carriage. C is cool with the idea that if your a good boy, Santa will bring toys on Christmas Eve. However, he is not cool with the fact that he has to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what he would like. This year, we may just write a letter and send it off. Don't want a repeat of what happened last year....

He didn't burst out in tears like so many others, he just sat there with with that stoney expression which didn't change until we got FAR away from Santa.

On the house hunting front. We found a home we love and put in an offer. It didn't go well, but I don't think it's over. The owners have come back to us three different times with different numbers all coming a little closer to our offer. We hope if we wait another few weeks, they will think our offer was not so bad in the first place. We are keeping our fingers crossed because we love the house!
